Ric (Hit Man) Tinsley - Drums & Percussion. 

 

Ric is the driving force behind Country Stormz .

 

He grew up in a very musical household, his Dad played pedal steel guitar, mandolin & rhythm guitar in a very successful country band and was gigging nationwide regularly on the country music circuit. This was a major influence on Ric inspiring a love for country music.

Ric studied music at college for two years after leaving school and gaining a huge amount of theory and practical experience. During that time he joined  originals Indie-Punk band called "Shapeshifter" and enjoyed the success. In 2000 the band won the Dorset battle of the bands competition and were  played regularly at some of the top venues in Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Soho and Camden Town in London. The band  were offered the chance of a record contract and to go to Japan to record an album and tour.

Ric’s passion for Country Music has been a great influence for the band and the Country Stormz project.
